Our field trips are designed for curious minds from PreK through 8th grade, including preschool, elementary, and middle school students. Whether you're a teacher looking to organize an off-campus adventure or bring engaging science right to your classroom, we’ve got you covered. Kids Science Labs offers both on-site visits to our discovery centers and in-school STEM labs led by our expert educators. We can accommodate up to 125 students per time and up to 400 students per day

Our in-school field trips bring hands-on science directly into your daily schedule with 45-minute sessions fully aligned to your curriculum. A KSL science educator leads the lesson using high-quality materials, giving each student the chance to perform their own experiment. We can set up in individual classrooms or use a dedicated space for the day, Monday through Friday, between 8am and 3pm.

Students visiting a Kids Science Labs center enjoy a 75-minute session filled with exciting experiments, led by passionate educators in our state-of-the-art science labs. From the moment they arrive to the time they leave, kids are fully immersed in discovery, while teachers can sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience alongside them.

Educators may select from six popular field trip experiences along with a growing catalog of over 40 unique STEM field trips designed for PreK–8th grade students. Each one is crafted to align with grade-level science standards and spark curiosity through hands-on exploration. Pricing starts at $20 per student, which includes all materials, expert instruction, and a take-home STEAM kit. We offer special discounts for CPS and Title I schools through our VIP Partner Program.

Each field trip lasts 75 minutes and includes 4–5 hands-on science experiments, led by one of our engaging teachers. Every student also receives a custom take-home STEAM kit, complete with their own pair of science goggles!

Our on-site field trips at KSL are typically held on Fridays, with sessions starting at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. We recommend booking early, as spots fill up fast during the school year.
