Volcanoes are pressure reactions and in this camp, we explored the hands-on science that kids love, including eruptions, explosions, testing porosity of real volcanic rocks, and exploring land formation at Kids Science Labs.

Bridges seem so easy, but to students, they need a motivating question to make it fun and relevant, so on this 2nd iteration of Bridge Innovation and Design, our students explored how to make a bridge for Animals, Pedestrians, or Alternative Vehicles, that will work in various severe weather conditions. Exploring load bearing capacity, structural design, and environmental conditions, our students learned that bridges are not so simple after all.
